These are the items applicants most often ask about. Keep this section open while you prepare, or minimize it after you have reviewed the list. Exact requirements depend on your role, assignment, facility, and applicable rules.
Credential readiness at a glance
Identity
- Government-issued ID
Role credentials
- Active CNA, LPN, or RN credential where applicable and in good standing
- MT and DSP requirements are confirmed for the specific role, setting, and opportunity
Health clearances
- Physical completed within the prior year with communicable-disease and job-duty language
- Two-step TB test completed within the prior year or an approved equivalent
- In-person, hands-on BLS for nurses
Screening and facility checks
- Background screening before placement
- Possible facility-specific COVID vaccination, drug screening, and Act 33 clearance requirements
